4. Security Deposit / Damage Waiver Security Deposits can be paid in cash or on credit or debit card and range from €1500 - €3000 depending on the yacht size booked*. *All damages are the responsibility of the lead passanger. Your skipper will be commercially endorsed and hold skipper liability insurance. However we do advise you to consider taking out seperate charter insurance during your time onboard incase of any unavoidable eventualities + personal as holiday insurance fo each of your guests. 5. Tourist Tax Toursit tax in Croatia is approx €20 per person per week and payable in cash on arrival. 6. Skills Questionnaire Forms Not required for Skippered Sailing Holidays - Your in holiday mode, Learn as much as you want or sit back and relax. 7. Skipper Meals It is your responsibility to feed your Skipper onboard. Either providing food for the skipper or when eating out with the skipper (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner) 8. Tips & Gratuities (Croatia) Suggestions Your Skipper: Does Not Expect Tips. However: Feel Free To Show Your Gratitude. Industry standard is 10 - 15% of your booking cost. Dinning Out / Bars & Coffee Shops: In Croatia We Generally Do Leave Tips When Dinning Out Or Paying A Drinks Bill At The End Of A Night. Especially If You Have Had Good Service & Enjoyed Your Meal / Drinks. (Standard Gratuities: In Croatia Are Around 10-15% Of The Bill) * In our experience this amount will more than cover your training onboard expeneses for Breakfasts & Lunches and marina fees. If you request expensive marina's each night you may need too top it up. Marina's in Croatia can cost upto €160 per night but come with water, electric and bathroom facilities. Anchoring and Restaurant Moorings are generally free. (Some ports only accept cash payments) *Float management is a crew task with assistance of your skipper and part of understanding boat organisation. We do not take any funds from your float contribution. Your skipper will open it up with you all at the beginning of your holiday. Any remaming funds are shared equally between yourselves at the end of the course. Receipts will be kept and tallied up and the end. |
