These are practical sail training courses for all ages ran over 5 days.

Boat Float (Kitty) - If Booking - Private Yacht Training. An initial contribution of €750* Payable in cash on day one when you join the yacht, that should cover breakfast / lunch provisons, mooring fees and fuel throughout your course. (Dependent on your nightly moorings and food expectations this may increas or decrease) The boat float (kitty) is managed by crew, Any remaining funds are split between crew onboard. Tips & Gratuities (Croatia) Suggestions Your Instructor: Does Not Expect Tips. However: Once Your Course Has Fully Finished & De-Briefs Have Been Completed, Certificates Given Out, Or Action Plans Discussed. Feel Free To Show Your Gratitude. Dinning Out / Bars & Coffee Shops: In Croatia We Generally Do Leave Tips When Dinning Out Or Paying A Drinks Bill At The End Of A Night. Especially If You Have Had Good Service & Enjoyed Your Meal / Drinks. (Standard Gratuities: In Croatia Are Around 10-15% Of The Bill) * Generally suggested float amount will cover your expeneses for Breakfasts & Lunches and marina fees while onbaord. If you request expensive marina's each night you may need too top it up. Marina's in Croatia can cost upto €170 per night but come with water, electric and bathroom facilities. Anchoring and Restaurant Moorings are generally free. Note: this amount may increas or decrease depening on number of students onboard and the moorings you decide to use. *Float management is a crew task and part of understanding boat organisation. YST does not take any funds from your float contribution. Your instructor will open it up with you all at the beginning of your course. What Type Of RYA Course Is This?.

Experience living, sailing, cooking and sleeping on board for 5 days and really get to know the boat. Virtually all the course is hands on. This is very much a Practical Sail Training course.

You are the crew - without you the sails won't go up and the boat won't be steered.
